Welcome to the Kelly's...I have told you all before that
Welcome to the Kelly's...I have told you all before that
I am not a writer and so even though I am not
really a photographer either, I am glad that this Open House
page is going to be mainly pictures..so here goes..
The first few pictures are of our front door area...
This cute snowman hangs on the inside of our front door...I have had it
for years!! It was given to me by one of the staff at the child care..probably
over 10 years ago...this is it's reserved spot each year!
My Willow tree nativity is the favorite of all my decorations...I have it
out all year round but not up on these shelves..Fred just put these up
for me this year so I could see the whole set better..
Then of course comes the Precious Moments set of Mary and Joseph.."LOVE"
Of course every house should have a Christmas tree...
Over the years I have been given a lot of ornaments, snowmen and other
decorations...really hard to say which are my favorites and I am not
going to try and tell you about all of them..but will add some
tidbits of information once in a while!!
This is the ornament I got from Emily this year...along with the two that are
following....
This dove was sent to me by a wonderful friend I met online..and have also met in person..
Every time I hang it up I think about her and her family..it's been on our
tree every year for the last 11 years...what memories..
This was made by the same friend as who sent the dove...
Now for a little break in the ornament pictures..
Another gift from a co worker..had this pretty girl for a long time also!
Lots of snowmen...snowmen, snowmen everywhere!!
Found this cute couple on a antique store trip with Pam and Dan.. they both
wind up and play music..so cute!! Looks like Santa and Mrs Claus are tired!!
Here is one of my favorite snow globes..it's actually my only
"Christmas" themed one I have..I do have several others but not Christmas..
Back to some more ornaments...
This one below is from an online friend..Susan..last year's exchange..
And also this one...
This ornament was given to me from a co worker...her daughter
brought it back from Poland...
These little cherries are made out of wood..several of them
were given to me by our son and his wife they got them
when they were in Traverse City Michigan (Cherry capital!!)
One of the new ornaments we added this year...
This was made by one of best friends daughter..
And another cute Precious Moments musical decoration..
This is the beautiful poinsettia plant (Tree??) that Fred gave me earlier
this month. It is one of his traditions to give me a poinsettia every year..
But...this is the biggest one ever!! And it's so beautiful!!
And just when I thought I was done decorating I receive this gorgeous arrangement..
Have to add my favorite 'elf'...who has been around for a LONG time..
Had to come back and edit my tour and add this cute teapot that I received from
my Secret Sister from our ladies group at church...
She also blessed me with this plaque and I was so pleased to see one just like it on Judy's tour!!
Have to add a couple more that I forgot when I first posted....and here they are..
My kitchen angel that is out all year..
And my old reliable piano player snowman!!
I think I will end this "tour" with the one ornament that says it all.
I hope you enjoyed your 'visit' sure wish you could have been here in person!!
May you all have a wonderful, blessed Christmas!!
